How ALX works

Autologyx is an automation platform which allows you to design and build complex operational processes with little or no code.

It can ”talk” to other systems via API or Database connector.

The platform consists of:

• A Core Database Engine where process objects (criteria, levels, sequences, etc) are stored
• Work Queues
• Provides system users and targets (the subject of your process eg matter, legal counsel, client, supplier, document) with tasks
• An Analytics Engine
  • Records who, what, when, where
  • Ensures that all process steps happen in the right order
  • Data is used real-time to change the process reactively
  • Billions of records can be accessed through the data analytics engine

The AWS enabled infrastructure is a containerised environment:

• Detects high workload in an area of the system and auto-scales capacity to accommodate increase
• N+1 architecture – highly redundant and failsafe

Customers generally have:

• Free access to store items and can select these for use as required. The Store allows us to partition advanced features and functionality which are not relevant to all customers.
• Two systems – dev and live. Config can be built, tested and migrated from dev to live on a scheduled basis.
