A target can be un-archived via the action menu in the target list.

If this action is taken, the target will be restored to the same state as they were when last archived.
However, if:
- criteria have expired during the period in which the target was archived these will return as expired tasks
- the workflow configuration has dramatically changed or sequence triggers contain conditions which cannot be applied to the target the process may not be able to continue
