This is a particularly common question. The link in the account creation email only expires once clicked. However, if a target is away from their emails for an extended period eg on holiday, etc the email can easily be lost in a large inbox on their return or they might have accidentally deleted it.
If a target calls you asking you to resend the email follow these simple steps:
- Go to the target list and search for your target by entering their first name, last name, email address or part of any of this data in the search field as shown and click out of the field

- In the target's action menu on the RHS select "Enable"

- ALX will confirm that the Activation email was sent by placing a temporary banner at the top of the Target List - as shown below

Please Note:
- If the target does not receive the account activation email, please check that the email address has been correctly entered into their record. If it is incorrect, amend the data then repeat the "Enable" process
- If you have disabled notifications for any reason in a sequence and the target has reached this part of the process (probably because all previous actions were "Ours" ie System User to complete) the target will not receive this or any other email. In this case you will either have to:
- Enable the account yourself by copying and pasting the activation link from the notification, which can be found in the target's history, into a browser and going through the activation process. Once you have confirmed the user name, password and secret question/answer to the target they can use the Password reset link on the login page OR
- Copying and pasting the activation link from the notification into a new email outside of ALXOR
- Setting up a temporary sequence to enable the target's notifications. Once they have activated their account you can run another temporary sequence to disable the notifications if this is what is required
HOT TIP
If the target does not receive the account activation email and neither of the above notes apply, ask them to check their junk or trash folder. Occasionally, the first email from ALX will go into this folder because of the security or other settings applied to an inbox.
